Qur’an 3:169-170 - Will all Muslims be in hell for some time or not?

There are different answers to the question in the Qur’an:

Muslims who die in Allah’s way will not be in hell - Qur’an 3:169-170

Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision. Jubilant (are they) because of that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not joined them but are left behind: That there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.” (Qur’an 3:169-170 – Yusuf Ali) The Qur’an says that when you die in Allah’s way you will go to Islamic paradise.

Muslims will be in hell some time - Qur’an 19:69-71

“Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord.” (Qur’an 18:69-71 – Pickthall) All souls, including Muslims will be in hell for some time. Every human being (except the faultess Jesus (Qur’an 19:19) has been stubborn in rebellion to God.

There is a contradiction in the Qur’an about going to Islamic paradise. The serious believer will consider to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin.
