Qur’an 3:18 - Only Allah to be worshiped or not?

There are different answers to the question in the Qur’an about worshiping Allah as the only one:

Only Allah can be worshiped - Qur’an 3:18

There is no god but He: that is the witness of Allah His angels and those endued with knowledge standing firm on justice. There is no god but He the Exalted in Power the Wise. (Qur’an 3:18 – Yusuf Ali)

Allah is not the only one that can be worshiped - Qur’an 12:100

And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. (Qur’an 12:100 – Sahih International) The Qur’an does mention that Allah allowed Joseph’s family to worship Joseph. This is a contradiction with Qur’an 3:18 that only Allah can be worshiped.

There is an issue about two Qur’an verses about worshiping only Allah or not.
