Qur´an 12:109 - Did Allah send only men as messengers?

What is the Qur’an saying about the kind of Allah’s messengers? There are different answers to this question:

1. Only men as messengers – Qur´an 12:109
“And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities.” (Qur’an 12:109)
Allah sends only men as messengers.

2. Allah sends humans and Jinni as messengers – Qur´an 6:130
“O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you …” (Qur’an 6:130)
Allah sends humans and Jinni respectively as messengers to them.

3. Allah sends a beast as messenger – Qur´an 27:82
“We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations.” (Qur’an 27:82)
Allah sends humans and Jinni respectively as messengers to them.

4. Allah sends angels with wings as messengers – Qur´an 35:1
“Praise be to Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who appointeth the angels messengers having wings two, three and four.” (Qur’an 35:1 - Pickthall)

5. Conclusion
There is a difficulty in the Qur’an about the question that Allah sends only men as messengers or not. One verse is telling us that Allah sends only men as messengers, while according to three verses, Allah doesn’t sends only men as messengers. Therefore the verses are a contradiction in the Qur’an.
